Swarovski Lights Up Champs-Élysées: First Pop-up, Sponsorship, and 130th Anniversary Celebration! (2026)

Swarovski's Sparkling Celebration in the City of Light

Get ready for a dazzling display as Swarovski takes center stage in Paris, illuminating the iconic Avenue des Champs-Élysées with its holiday decorations and an exclusive pop-up experience. But here's where it gets intriguing: Swarovski is the first brand to combine sponsorship with a pop-up on this prestigious avenue, creating a unique and captivating experience.

This pop-up is more than just a temporary store; it's a celebration of Swarovski's 130th birthday and a tribute to its deep-rooted connection with Paris. And this is the part most people miss: Swarovski's founder, Daniel Swarovski, played a pivotal role in the brand's history with Paris, introducing his revolutionary crystal-cutting technique at the Exposition Universelle in 1900. So, this pop-up is a symbolic homecoming.

"The pop-up is a magnificent showcase for us," Myriam Batoni, Swarovski's general director for France and Benelux, told WWD. "It allows us to showcase our heritage, craftsmanship, and boundless creativity. We're thrilled to be the first brand granted this opportunity at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe."

Swarovski's pop-up, located at 1 Place Charles de Gaulle, is a sight to behold. Inspired by the brand's iconic octagon, it features a stunning display of jewelry and home decor, including the Vienna Collection by creative director Giovanna Engelbert. Visitors can personalize their gifts and even find exclusive Paris-themed items, like a crystal Eiffel Tower figurine.

But there's more to this pop-up than meets the eye. Designed with sustainability in mind, the structure is built from modular containers, reflecting Swarovski's commitment to environmental responsibility. The project, developed in collaboration with the Comité Champs-Élysées, is a testament to the brand's expertise and trustworthiness.

"This collaboration is a perfect blend of our values," Batoni added. "Crystal and light go hand in hand, making our partnership with the Champs-Élysées Illuminations a natural choice."

The pop-up will be open until December 26th, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in Swarovski's world. So, will you be visiting this sparkling celebration? And what do you think about Swarovski's unique approach to sponsorship and pop-up experiences? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
